Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey


The Australian Government is proceeding with the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey of all Australians on the Commonwealth Electoral Roll. Instructions on survey participation are published on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website

Australians must have correctly enrolled with the Australian Electoral Commission before 24 August 2017 to participate. Australians who have registered as overseas, and have provided their overseas address, will receive the necessary documentation to participate.

Additional 300 places for Polish Work and Holiday Maker agreement


The Minister for Immigration and Border Protection has announced that an additional 300 places in this year’s Work and Holiday arrangement between Australia and Poland will be opened on 1 October 2017.

Updates on the programme will be provided on the Australian Embassy in Berlin website.
